Food insecurity remains one of the most pressing challenges in our rapidly developing urban landscape. While many of us take our next meal for granted, thousands of individuals in our immediate vicinity—ranging from construction workers to elderly citizens living on the streets—struggle to find even one nutritious meal a day. At Impact IIF, we believe that nutrition is a fundamental human right, not a privilege. Our latest “Zero Hunger” drive was launched with a clear mission: to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our society have access to high-quality, hot, and hygienic food.
During our most recent campaign, our team of dedicated volunteers mapped out five high-need “hunger zones” across the city. These are areas where daily wage laborers gather in search of work, often spending hours in the heat without proper sustenance. We established mobile distribution units that served over 5,000 meals in a single week. Each meal is carefully planned by nutritionists to ensure a balance of proteins, carbohydrates, and essential vitamins, typically consisting of rice, lentils, seasonal vegetables, and clean drinking water.
